pk10猜冠军技巧 www.5mxt.com.cn Abstract:One time, Hillary Clinton made her acceptance speech at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Despite her remarkable accomplishment, the barriers for a woman to take the role of a rhetor and an essential political still exist. To find out the conflicts facing Hillary Clinton as a female speaker and presidential nominee, this paper analyzes her acceptance speech from the perspective of feminine style.
The research begins with a comprehensive review of the studies of feminine style, exploring its origin and characteristics. It then analyses how Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech does not comply with this rhetoric style. Finally, the research argues that the gender norms underlying American presidency is attributable to such non-compliance strategies.
